A forty-one-year-old West Canje, Berbice hire car driver yesterday morning woke up to discover his car was missing. The white 212 car with registration number HB 8987 is valued at 1.4 million dollars.”
According to the police, the victim who lives at Mount Sinai Village, West Canje, Berbice had parked his car on the parapet in his village on Saturday night but discovered the car missing yesterday morning at 6:30.
The car is said to have been stolen between 9pm on Saturday and 6:30 am yesterday.
Checks were made but the search proved futile.
A police report was subsequently made. Investigations are underway.
