Dear Editor,
It is disappointing on this Independence Day there is no announcement of National Awards the President, addressing the nation at the Flag Raising Ceremony, said awards would be announced shortly and I thought this would have been done during the ceremony. Alas it was not to be. Disappointing. I was very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the cultural presentation put on by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport. Kudos to the. Minister and team for a splendid event.
