The Ministry of Health today said that as of May 28, 2021, two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 382.
The latest fatalities are a 73-year-old male from Region Four (4) (Demerara-Mahaica) and 67-year-old woman from Region Three (3) (East Berbice- Corentyne). They both died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical facility.
