Dear Editor,
I write in reference to an article in the Stabroek News May 19th 2021, five charged over $19.4 million GRA Cheques Scam. It is believed that there may have been many more cheques cashed.
My question is, how did the accused persons get these cheques which have to be signed by at least two high ranking officials? 1 remember the story of Gunga Din (Waterboy) who told the British Major that he wanted to be a soldier. The Major replied, “Don’t make me laugh.”
