A teen was injured last Monday after an argument with a drinking partner at Market Street, Supenaam Essequibo Coast.
According to the police, Kevin Francis, 19, and the accused were among others drinking when an argument started and resulted in the suspect hitting Francis to the left side of his head with a beer bottle.
The report added that the victim fell to the ground and was subsequently picked up and rushed to the Suddie Public Hospital by his mother, where he was examined and admitted. He is currently in a stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
