Snackette owner gets bail on ganja trafficking charge

A woman who is accused of trafficking cannabis was yesterday charged and granted bail.

Angela Marshall, a snackette owner, appeared in a city court where Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus read the charge to her.

It is alleged that on April 30, at Fort Street, Kingston, Georgetown, she had in her possession, 39 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.

She pleaded not guilty to the charge and was placed on $20,000 bail.
