Mackenzie man jailed for break in and larceny

A Mackenzie man was yesterday sentenced to one year in prison after he pleaded guilty to a break and enter and larceny.

Romano Hamblin, 24, of Cedar Street, Mackenzie, Linden, appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was read to him.  According to the police the incident occurred on Saturday at Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden.

The victim was identified as Angelina Yearwood.

Hamblin pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced for the offence.
