Linden mason gets two years for simple larceny

A mason on Tuesday pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny and has been sentenced to two years behind bars.

Romano Hamblin, 24, of Mackenzie, Linden, appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Wanda Fortune where the charge was read to him.

Hamblin was charged with simple larceny in the dwelling house, which is a breach of Section 187 of the Criminal Law Offences Act.

According to the evidence presented, he broke and entered the house of Quinessa Kitt, sometime between May 27 and July 7.
