Lethem man stabbed in domestic row

An eighteen-year-old man of Lethem was yesterday stabbed several times after he tried ending a relationship with a twenty-year-old woman who is currently on the run.

The victim was identified as Brandon Bailey of Tabatinga Drive, Lethem.

According to the police, Bailey and the suspect shared a relationship. At about 5:45pm yesterday, the victim returned home and informed the suspect that he wanted to dissolve their relationship. The suspect who became annoyed went into the house, armed herself with a knife and stabbed Bailey twice, once to his right arm and once to his left arm.

Following the incident, the victim ran over to his cousin’s home. He was then taken to the Lethem Regional Hospital where he was treated by a doctor and sent away.

Checks were made for the suspect but she could not be found.
