The trial of Kevin Mohan also known as ‘Chucky,’ who is accused of murdering his aunt, Anita Mohan back in 2016, is set to commence this morning at the High Court in Georgetown.
The 12-member jury hearing the case was empaneled yesterday morning before Justice Sandil Kissoon who will be presiding over the trial.
Just over a dozen witnesses are expected to testify.
Mohan is being represented by defence attorney Damian Da Silva. Meanwhile, the state’s case was presented by Prosecutor Taneisha Saygon.
The allegation against Mohan, to which he has pleaded not guilty, is that on September 4th, 2016 he murdered of his aunt, Anita
