The police yesterday issued a wanted bulletin for a suspect in the murder of Jaleel Leow, who was shot and killed last week while at a friend’s house in Sophia.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) said John Kennedy, also known as ‘Big John,’ 38, whose last known address is Lot 751 Field 8, Section ‘B’, Sophia, is wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of Leow.
The murder was committed occurred on August 2 at ‘B’ Field, Sophia.
Leow, 21, of Dennis Street, Campbellville, was killed around 5.50 pm on the day in question during an attack carried out by two men.
The police reported that Leow was among a group of persons hanging out with a female shopkeeper at her Sophia residence.
Leow was shot four times. Another person, Brandon Smith, was also injured in the attack.
The attackers fled on bicycles.
