Dear Editor,
We Christians believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh and is the Son of God. Being Christian is not just about going to church and praying. It is also about being charitable, showing love and compassion. Being generous is also cherished. The Good Book (The Christian Bible) teaches us that love drives out fear. Are we in danger of falling away especially when we are tempted by material wealth, power, knowledge which is not true knowledge (true knowledge is knowledge of God and his will). His will is that all humanity must love one and another as He (God) loves us. Being a servant is very important in the Lord’s household as when we are in the service of each other we are in the service of our God. Finally, righteousness uplifts a nation… not material wealth as God provides for our needs when we are faithful and obedient to Him.
