A man was on Monday remanded to prison for the alleged illegal possession of a gun and ammunition.
Kevin Barnwell, also known as ‘Bull,’ 24, of Lot 35 Supply, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara, appeared before Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus via Zoom at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges of possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition without being the holder of a licence.
The matter will be called again on October 15, 2021.
