HSS, SEWA have donated range of items to COVID fight

Dear Editor,

On behalf of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS), and SEWA International Guyana, I thank your newspaper for publishing the news of our donation of an Oxygen plant to the Infectious Disease Hospital.

Please note that at the Press Conference it was also acknowledged that we (HSS/Sewa Int. Guyana), have already delivered 3 – 40’ containers with the following:

KN94 face mask – 496,580

Hand Sanitizers (8 fl oz. / 236 ml) – 14,856

Antibacterial Liquid hand soap (16 fl oz. / 473 ml) – 2,448

Sanitizing and cleaning wipes – 11,150 pcs

Surgical Gowns – 342

The two groups have also been actively involved in collaborating with the Ministry of Education  (which has been doing an exceptionally great job in this battle against COVID-19), other religious, and social groups in distributing some of the aforementioned items within the country, especially in the rural areas. Two more (4th and 5th) containers are expected very soon with similar items and will be utilized for the same purpose countrywide.

We urge everyone to stay safe, get vaccinated (both shots where applicable), observe and practice all of the COVID-19 guidelines, which will eventually help save not only Guyana, but the entire world.

Be the hero-stay COVID-19 zero!

Regards,

Praem Rambharak
