Inter Ministries, Government Agencies to host knockout Tape Ball Cricket Competition

The National Cultural Centre tarmac in Georgetown will be a hive of activity on Sunday November 21 starting from 9.00am, when the Public Service Georgetown Office Assistants stage an Inter Ministries/Government Agencies 8-aside 4-over Knockout Tape Ball Cricket Competition.

This was disclosed by an official release from the entity. According to the correspondence, the event will feature two groups, and will be contested for cash prizes, medals and trophies.

Group-A contains Supreme Court Marshalls, Guyana Forestry Commission, Demerara Harbour Bridge, Guyana Revenue Authority, Guyana Oil Company, Guyana Energy Agency, Guyana Prison Services, Bank of Guyana, National Drainage and Irrigation Authority, Maritime Administration, Guyana Public Hospital Corporation and Environmental Protection Agency.

On the other hand, group-B comprises Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation, Ministry of Public Service, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Ministry of Housing and Water, Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Human Services and Social Security, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Finance and Office of the President.

The coordinator of the event is James Lewis and will be contested utilising the National Covid-19 Task Force guidelines.
