Key data on COVID vaccines

Absent a more robust data sharing and analysis from the Ministry of Health your article on November 10th entitled `Guyana has received over one million COVID vaccines’

(https://www.stabroeknews.com/2021/11/10/news/guyana/guyana-has-received-over-one-million-covid-vaccines/) was both timely and appreciated.  It is in this vein of information sharing that the following is proffered.  Persons might be wondering how and how many of those vaccines have been administered so far.  Below is a monthly breakdown of the administered jabs by cohort (adult and adolescent, first and second jabs) as of November 12.

According to the information publicly distributed by the Ministry of Health  390,110 adult first jabs have been administered.  Here is the monthly breakdown:

November numbers:

Of the 1,000,000 plus vaccines in the Ministry of Health’s possession that you cited in your November 10th article,  696,483 jabs have been administered so far — with the 5 – 11 year olds soon to be added to this total.

Update

Here is an update and additional breakdown to your October 12 article entitled “Eighty-one percent of 159 recent COVID deaths have been of unvaccinated”

(https://www.stabroeknews.com/2021/10/12/news/guyana/eighty-one-percent-of-159-recent-covid-deaths-have-been-of-unvaccinated/).  As of yesterday, November 12, there are now 272 recent COVID deaths and with the additional 113 recent deaths the unvaccinated number has fallen to 77.6%.
