Pepsi Hikers secured their fifth consecutive win, while Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Roulettes continued their impressive showing when the ExxonMobil National Indoor Hockey Championship continued on Saturday evening at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.

In the Men’s 1st Division, Pepsi Hikers crushed Saints by a 12-1 score-line. Aroydy Branford amassed nine conversions while Robert France bagged a double. Adding a goal was Jamarj Assanah. For the loser, Hilmar Chester scored.

In the Women’s Division, GCC Roulettes defeated GCC Spartans 2-1. Lea Berlie recorded a brace in the win, while Gabriella Xavier scored for the loser.

In other results, 50 Not-Out defeated YMCA Old Fort 4-2 in the Men’s 1st Division. Philip Fernandes tallied a brace while Dexter Wyles and Alan Fernandes scored one goal each. For YMCA Old Fort, Shaquon Favorite tallied two strikes.

Meanwhile, Guyana 40s and Bounty GCC battled to a 1-1 stalemate in the Men’s 1st Division. Devin Munroe was on target for Guyana 40s, while Meshach Sargeant netted for Bounty GCC.

In the Men’s 2nd Division, Bounty GCC Pitbulls mauled GCC War Dogs 14-1.Vladimir Woodroffe smashed five goals, while Rahim Oliver recorded a helmet trick and Meshach Sargeant tallied a hat-trick. Adding two goals was Lennox Carrol. For the loser, Kyle Couchman scored.

GCC War Dogs also suffered an 11-0 drubbing at the hands of Saint Scorpions. Baraka Garnett recorded five goals, while Taise Seepaul, and Shakeem Fausette netted two goals apiece. Adding to the score was Hilmar Chester with a conversion.

Likewise, Saints Scorpions stung YMCA Old Fort 5-0. Tahrea Garnett fashioned two goals, while Tiverasid Garnett, Shomere Garnett and Shakeem Fausette scored one goal respectively.

Also, Hikers downed Saints Sensations 4-2. Devin Munroe registered a double while Edmund Chinian and Brian Asregado netted one goal each. For the loser, Seon Sukhai and Jabari Lovell found the back of the net.
