A Garnett Street, Kitty man was yesterday placed on $10,000 bail after being charged with assaulting a peace officer.
Thirty-five-year-old Herbert Squires was placed before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court. He denied that on January 28 he unlawfully assaulted Shane Harris, a policeman acting in the execution of his duties.
He was released on $10,000 bail and told to return to court on February 28.
