Dear Editor,
I sighed when I read of the issue of the Guyanese CARIFTA games athletes in Jamaica in your newspaper dated April 20, 2022. A national embarrassment. What I found interesting is that in Jamaica, where you can buy a beef patty with a debit or credit card, the officials of the AAG “walked with cash” (which ran out). Many persons in this fiasco need to improve their game, and it is not the athletes.
