Junior Jags oppose Lithuania today

Guyana’s Junior Jaguars U16 football team will continue their participation in the UEFA Assist Friendly Tournament, when they oppose Lithuania today in Bosnia & Herzegovina.

The Guyanese in their first ever appearance at any age group in European competition, lost the opening match to the host nation 1-9 on Tuesday. Guyana will conclude their campaign against Montenegro on Sundsay.

The Golden Jaguars roster comprises: Shemaiah Samuels, Troy Gibson, Omar Sam, Shakem Welcome, Matrim Martin, Reegan Lewis, Herman Gill, Christopher Whitter, William Escarraga, Hemant Khedoo, Jayden Culley, Bryan Wharton, Elon Anderson, Travis Williams, Jaden Harris, Gerry-Mayer Burnette, Swade Edwards, Dexter Milo, Seon Cato, and Kvist Paul.

The management team encompasses Vurlon Mills (head-coach), Devnon Winter (assistant coach), Eon DeViera (goalkeeping coach), Wilson Toledo (fitness coach), Randy King (team manager), Nico Alstrom (team doctor), Rawl Joseph (equipment manager), and Bryan Joseph (GFF assistant technical director).
