Can I please say ’congrats’ to my friend/brother in democracy, Major-Gen Joe Singh on his appointment to head the NRF. They could not have chosen a better person. Joe has achieved the rare feat in Guyana of having an unsullied, unimpeachable reputation, well above the political battlefield. He is truly a national treasure. I wish him luck with moderating any excesses on Guyana’s future wealth and offer him the advice given by Woodward and Bernstein about Watergate. If in doubt, just ‘Follow the money’
