Two men held after Riddim Flow owner robbed of 12 chains

Two men have been held following an armed robbery on the owner of Riddim Flow at Crane Housing Scheme, West Coast Demerara.

The police say that businessman Ren Persaud was attacked by three men last night at his Crane establishment and robbed of 12 gold chains. Two of the attackers carried guns. The chains were valued at $1.5m.

 

A 22-year-old taxi driver of West Ruimveldt and a  37-year-old of D’Urban Street are now in police custody as investigations into the incident continue. The two suspects in custody are slated to appear in court early next week where they will be charged.
