AX Galaxy won Bartica Easter Regatta female football competition, defeating Rivers View United on penalty kicks on Sunday at the Community Centre ground.
Locked 0-0 at the end of regulation time, AX Galaxy prevailed over their seasoned counterparts 3-2 to secure the inaugural title. A total of four clubs participated in the tournament, which was regulated by the Bartica Football Association.
