The Mayor’s Cup Inter-Ward nine-a-side knockout football tournament will conclude Sunday at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground, Bourda following the quarterfinals, the semi-finals and the final.
In the opening match at 18:00hrs, Den Amstel will oppose Bourda All-Stars while the second match will pit Tucville against West Side Spartans from 18:30hrs. In the third clash, Sparta Boss will take aim at Friendship Front from 19:00hrs, while Diamond will oppose Haslington at 19:30hrs.
The resulting winners will progress to the semi-final section. The respective victors in the semi-final stage will advance to the championship match.
The winner of the event will walk away with $600,000, while the second, third, and fourth place finishers will pocket $300,000, $200,000, and $100,000 respectively.
