Benn visits Police HQ, Ruimveldt Marine Dep’t

Minister of Home Affairs, Robeson Benn on Wednesday visited Police Headquarters, Eve Leary and the Ruimveldt Police Station Marine Department to conduct inspections.

In a press release, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that during his visit to Police Headquarters, Benn did a walkabout as he sought to detect operational issues.

He also inspected the buildings and discussed ways in which the infrastructure can be improved, the release said.

Benn was accompanied by a team which included Deputy Commission-er (ag) ‘Operations’, Ravindradat Budhram and Deputy Commissioner ‘Administration’, Calvin Brutus.

Meanwhile over at the Ruimveldt Police Station Marine Department, the release said Benn inspected the boat house and marine assets.
