Pinnacle Business Service, Jade Wok make donation to GCF

Pinnacle Business Services Inc., and Jade’s Wok each donated $G100,000 towards Guyana’s national chess team’s participation in the 2022 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad in Chennai, India.

The Olympiad is the biggest chess event in the world with over 150 countries set to participate in the July/August event.

Guyana’s top chess players competing in the event are CM Taffin Khan, FM Anthony Drayton, CM Wendell Meusa, Roberto Neto and Loris Nathoo in the Open Category.

Twenty-one year old Nellisha Johnson, 20-year-old Jessica Callender, 18-year-old Sasha Shariff, 14-year-old Pooja Lam and 12-year-old Anaya Lall, will compete in the women’s division.

According to a release from the GCF, the  two businesses said they were happy to be able to participate in the initiative since it helps in the growth and developmental skills of our children as well as adults.

Pinnacle Business Services Incorporated (PBSI), stated the release, is a registered company which focuses on managing the administrative aspects of their corporate clients. They provide exceptional service in bookkeeping, administration/logistics, human resources, property management and transportation.

Jade’s Wok, the release added, is one of Guyana’s premier restaurants specialising in delicious Asian Cuisine easily available at Giftland Mall, Turkeyen and Amazonia Mall on the East Bank of Demerara.

The GCF, in its release stated that they would like to express sincere appreciation to the management of Jade’s Wok and Pinnacle Business Services and looked forward to a continued partnership in the future.

Meanwhile, the GCF will host a fundraising dinner for the team on Saturday at 19:00hrs at the Ramada, Georgetown Princess Hotel, Providence. The event features an evening of 80’s and 90’s music paired and a three-course meal.
