Dolphin Secondary and Golden Grove secured their berths to the round of 16 section following contrasting wins in the Milo Secondary School Football Championship at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Dolphin Secondary crushed Charlestown 5-1. Jequan Cole crafted a brace in the 32nd, and 40th whilst Gerry Burnette recorded a double in the 47th and 64th minute. Adding to the score was Brian Burnette in the 15th minute.
For the loser, Mickelle Andrews found the back of the net in the 58th minute. Meanwhile, Golden Grove edged Buxton 4-2 on penalty kicks after regulation time ended 3-3.
Prior to the end of the eventual contest, Kelon Croal bagged a double 29th and 34th minute, while Shamar Walton netted in the 48th minute. For the loser, Omari Edwards, Ovid Brown, and Akandy Van Malson scored in the 23rd, 38th and 50th minute respectively.
