The Ministry of Education is inviting parents of students attending St. George’s Secondary, which was devastated by fire last Wednesday, to visit the Department of Education, at Lot 68 Brickdam, Georgetown, on Monday, for a registration process to aid in the placement of students for the new academic year.
Over 400 students were displaced by the fire at the city school, located along Company Path, on the north eastern side of St George’s Cathedral. The cause of the fire was yet to be determined as of Friday, according to Fire Chief Gregory Wickham.
