Fruta Conquerors and the Guyana Police Force amassed lopsided wins when the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Senior Men’s League continued yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence, East Bank Demerara.
Fruta Conquerors battered Order and Discipline 5-1. Jamal Codrington was the primary threat, as he recorded a hat-trick in the 7th, 23rd and 32nd minute.
Adding goals in the 11th and 26th minute apiece were the duo of Stephon Walton, and Jalesi Alundor. On target in the loss was Ishmael Glen in the 50th minute.
Similarly, GPF arrested Black Pearl 4-0. Steffon Ramsay led the brutality with a first half brace in the 19th and 30th minute, while the combination of Darren Benjamin, and Junior Redmond found the back of the net in the 41st, and 54th minute respectively. Meanwhile, Vengy defeated Western Tigers via walkover.
