KD Enterprise donates $12m in hospital beds to GPHC

On June 24, 2022, KD Enterprise handed over 40 new hospital beds to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).

The beds, valued at approximately $300,000 each were presented to Sister Neocy Anthony, Ward Manager for the Infectious Disease Ward (IDW), in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer (ag.)  Robbie Rambarran and other senior members of staff by Ravi Singh, son of Kissoon Dyal Singh.

A release from the GPHC said that the adjustable beds, which are equipped with IV poles also feature lifting guardrails, adjustable backrest, and footrest. The 40 new beds will replace the beds in the Male Medical and IDW wards.

Kissoon Dyal Singh, proprietor of KD Enterprise who has been a longstanding partner of the hospital for more than 20 years, said that the donation is intended to augment the hospital’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality of care provided. The CEO (ag.) extended appreciation to Singh.
