Wales and Crane FC battled to a 2-2 stalemate when the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) Senior Men’s League continued last evening at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora, West Coast Demerara.
Quincy Graham and Sean Stephen found the back of the net in the 13th and 32nd minute respectively for Crane. On target for Wales with a timely double was the experienced marksman, Marvin Josiah, who found the back of the net in the 23rd, and 34th minute.
The event continues tomorrow at the same venue with a doubleheader. In the opening match at 18:30hrs, Pouderoyen will lock horns with Den Amstel, while from 20:30 hours, the feature contest will pit Slingerz FC against Eagles.
