A cosmetologist was yesterday placed on $150,000 bail after pleading not guilty to a cybercrime charge.
The charge against 50-year-old Jennifer Williams of Lot 82 Gordon Street, Kitty, Georgetown, states that between Septem-ber 13, 2021 and December 17, 2021, at Kitty, Georgetown, she used a computer system, that is to say a cellular phone, to publish libelous information about Brad Singh with intent to harass and cause substantial embarrassment to him.
Williams who appeared before Magistrate Dylon Bess at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court denied the allegation and was granted $150,000 bail.
The matter has been adjourned until September 14, 2022 for disclosure.
