Dorwain Bess, a 45-year-old businessman of Bel Air Park, Georgetown was arrested by ranks from the Police Major Crimes Unit at CID Headquarters, Eve Leary on 2022/08/26 and charged today with Conspiracy to Commit a Felony Contrary to Section 33 of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:01, the police said.
The accused appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court today where both charges were read to him and he pleaded ‘not guilty’.
He was granted bail to the sum of $100,000 on each of the charges, with conditions for him to lodge his passport and report to O/C Major Crime or his deputy every Friday starting from 30th September, 2022.
The matter was adjourned for report on 1st November, 2022.
