I am appealing for help for this unfortunate couple

Dear Editor,

On August 20th during a storm the roof of a building belonging to Raymond and Glerry Kaiser of Saxacalli was blown off. The Kaiser’s are eighty one and seventy six. On a recent visit, I observed that this senior couple have contrived to tie some old zinc sheets with wire, there are no rafters or zinc laths.

The council have since given some rafters that came from the roof of the community centre which was repaired recently. I am appealing to the regional administration or any other agency for help for this unfortunate couple. Editor, on viewing the roof secured with rusty wire, I saw that it doesn’t need a storm to blow it away. But should the big bad wolf visit a huff and a puff will do the job.

Sincerely,

C. C. Lobert
