It is now official. Kristian Jeffrey was declared the 2022 Radical Caribbean Cup champion Tuesday night and was presented with the coveted winner’s trophy.

In a historical feat, the local daredevil leapfrogged Trinidad’s Kristian Boodoosingh and his 15-point lead on Sunday with stellar racing at the South Dakota Circuit to become the first Guyanese to win the Cup series.

Guyana’s other drivers helped the  team secure the Nation’s Cup trophy, defeating Barbados by a single point.

1st – Kristian Jeffrey (217 points); 2nd – Kristian Boodoosingh (212 pts); 3rd – Stuart Maloney (116 pts); 4th – Justin Maloney (116pts); 5th – Suleman Esuf (100 pts); 6th – Senna Summerbell (100 pts); 7th Mark Maloney (79 pts); 8th – Sean Maloney (63 pts); 9th – Justin Campbell of Barbados (47 pts) ; 10th Ahmed Esuf (39 pts);11th – Zachary Boodram of T&T (22 pts) and 12th – Ravi Singh of T&T (2 pts)

Nations Cup points after final round:

1st – Guyana 230 points; 2nd – Barbados (229 pts); 3rd – Trinidad & Tobago (216 pts) and 4th – Jamaica (129 pts)
