Nineteen-year-old Muraino Thomas was on Wednesday remanded to prison over the robbing of a Riverstown couple.
Thomas made his first appearance before Magistrate Esther Sam virtually where he pleaded not guilty to the robbery with violence charge. The incident occurred on December 23rd at Riverstown, Region Two. The robbery with violence was allegedly committed on Odho Persaud a market vendor and his wife at their Riverstown home.
Bail was objected to by the prosecutor. The defendant was subsequently remanded to prison. The case will be called again on January, 5, 2023.
