A Foulis, Enmore woman has been sentenced to six months imprisonment over possession of 5.3 grammes of cocaine. She was also fined $10,000.
A release from the police force’s Regional Division #4 `C’ said that on Friday 30th December, Surujdai Hussain c/d Latchmie, 30, of Lot 633 Foulis Enmore East Coast Demerara was charged with the offence of Possession of Narcotic for the purpose of Trafficking pertaining to 5.3 grams cocaine.
The release said that the defendant appeared at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Fabayo Azore, where the charge was read to her and she pleaded guilty and was fined $10,000, with 6 months imprisonment.
