Police on patrol duty at about 10.30 pm on Tuesday in the vicinity of Rotterdam, East Bank Berbice conducted a search on a wagon motor car bearing registration number HC 4483 and found four white bulky salt bags and two brown bulky salt bags containing 31 wrapped transparent plastics parcels suspected of containing cannabis.
A thorough search was then conducted in the motor car and the following documents were found:
1. two driver’s licences
2. One provisional licence
3. One national ID card for a resident of Sandvoort Village, West Canje Berbice.
