Dear Editor,
Amidst the furore over the mic snatching incident, shouldn’t protocol and courtesy have dictated that the MC/REO be advised of a small change to the programme by the Chairman, instead of foisting his authority on proceedings? Of course this does not in any way make the ensuing incident proper or right. From all appearances the attending minister chose to take a hands off and remain on the sideline, a spectator to the spectacle.
