A Bartica man appeared yesterday at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Crystal Lambert where he was fined for driving under the influence (DUI) and his driver’s licence was endorsed.
According a police release, Michael Singh, 29, of Dog Point, Bartica, Essequibo River, was arrested on Monday for DUI and appeared yesterday at court where the charge of DUI of alcohol was read to him.
Singh pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $200,000, in addition to having his driver’s license endorsed.
