Fawazz McRae, the 27-year-old businessman of Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden, who was arrested on 2023-03-12 for allegedly shooting 32-year-old Police Sergeant Jermaine Semple to the head, was today remanded to prison after he appeared in Court to answer to the charge.
McRae is charged with Attempting to Commit Murder and appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was read to him.
McRae was not required to plead to the charge and was remanded to prison after bail was refused, the police say.
The matter was adjourned until March 29, 2023.
