Rose is MVP as Linden All Stars retain 3×3 crown

Linden All-Stars successfully retained their Rawle Toney 3×3 Basketball Classic Championship, defeating GT Ballers in the final on Sunday evening at the Burnham Court, Parade ground.

Linden All-Stars, which comprised the quartet of Stanton Rose, Shelroy Thomas, Harold Adams, and Shane Webster, prevailed by a 21-14 score-line in front of a large crowd, which descended on the venue.

Due to the outcome, Linden All-Stars walked away with $400,000 and four championship rings. Stanton Rose was also adjudged the event’s Most Valuable Player and walked away with a motorcycle and $50,000.

On the other hand, GT Ballers received $200,000 for their efforts.

Meanwhile, Ballin 4 Peace secured the third position and $100,000, relegating Bullets to the fourth spot due to their superior point differential in the semi-final round. Ballin 4 Peace scored 14 points in their semi-final loss, whilst Bullets only mustered eight points in their defeat.

In the earlier semifinal section, Linden All-Stars crushed Bullets 21-8 while GT Ballers bested Ballin 4 Peace 21-14.
