Fruta Conquerors and the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) will contest the final of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Women’s Developmental League Championship tomorrow following contrasting semi-final wins on Thursday evening at the Eve Leary ground.
The Tucville outfit brushed aside Pakuri Warriors by an 8-2 score-line in the first semi-final fixture. Jalade Trim led the rout with five goals while Jessica Teasdale netted a brace. Adding to the score was Shanic Thornhill.
Meanwhile, GDF edged hosts, the Guyana Police Force (GPF), 1-0 in the second semi-final matchup. The winners will now face off on Sunday at 20:00hrs. The resulting losers will compete in the third-place playoff.
