Ann’s Grove and Den Amstel secured hard-fought wins when the KFC Elite League continued on Saturday evening at the Guyana Football Federation National Training Centre in Providence, East Bank Demerara.
Anns Grove edged Milerock 3-2. The trident of Odell Gulliver, Antoine Williams, and Justin Herod found the back of the net in the 45th+2, 28th, and 79th minute respectively. For the loser, Rodensio Tudor bagged a double in the 14th and 73rd minute apiece.
Similarly, Den Amstel squeaked past Victoria Kings 1-0. Ryan Lewis etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 85th minute. The event continues tomorrow at the same venue with another doubleheader.
