Innocent until proven guilty or guilty until proven innocent

Dear Editor,

Regarding the Nigel Dharamlall imbroglio I am working on the presumption of innocent until proven guilty. In calling for Nigel Dharamlall to be fired over allegations, others are working on the presumption of guilty until proven innocent. Which is the case in Guyana? Should President Irfaan Ali fire Dharamlall because of allegations, then he would also need to fire himself as he too has had allegations made against him.

Sincerely,

Sean Ori
