St Thomas man chopped to death at home

(Jamaica Observer) Police have launched a probe after the body of a man was found with chop wounds at his home at Shady Springs in White Horses, St Thomas, yesterday morning.

The deceased, identified as Roy McLean, otherwise called ‘Jeroy’, was found by family members, the police said.

Information reaching OBSERVER ONLINE is that the now-deceased was found lying on his back at his house with multiple chop wounds all over his body.

The police said the back door of his house showed signs of forced entry. Based on observation, the police added, it appeared the killing may have happened yesterday afternoon.

The police said unconfirmed reports are that McLean may have been seen in the Morant Bay area of the parish about midday Saturday.
