Wismar All-Stars, California Square, and Albouystown recorded hard-fought wins when the annual GT Beer ‘Keep Ya Five Alive’ Futsal Championship commenced Saturday evening at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
Wismar All-Stars downed Sophia 2-1. Donovan Francis bagged a double in the second and eighth minute. On target for the loser was Shem Porter in the 19th minute. On the other hand, California Square defeated Mocha 2-0. Gerry Burnett crafted a brace in the second and 18th minute.
Meanwhile,
Albouystown squeaked past Hustlers 1-0. Tyrese Lyle etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 20th+1 minute to settle the outcome.
