Enmore South Pasture will be rehabilitated into a recreational facility at a cost of $9 million to provide a safe space for families to spend leisure time.  According to a Ministry of Housing and Water press release, the contract was awarded to Amazon Planx for the upgrading of the pasture and the work to be undertaken will include the construction of a chain link fence, land clearing, and sand filling

The release said residents had asked Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water Susan Rodrigues during the last Phagwah celebration to make representation to have the community ground rehabilitated.   The release said Rodrigues noted that the facility will add to the overall well-being in the area, as it will provide a safe space for extracurricular activities for families. She added that while the ministry focuses on building communities, an essential part of this is ensuring that they are furnished with facilities that aid social well-being of citizens.
