President wants climate, energy, food security at forefront of EU-CELAC talks

President Irfaan Ali yesterday said he expects climate, energy and food security to be at the forefront of the talks at the European Union-Community of Latin American and Caribbean States Summit (EU-CELAC) 2023.

President Ali made these remarks while interacting with the international media on the sidelines of the Summit in Brussels, Belgium, a release from the Office of the President said.

The President said he expects that these “critical global issues” and finding the right balance with them will be discussed.

The three-day EU-CELAC Summit is set to conclude today.
