Leopold Street, Sparta Boss, Ramsay Family, and Beterverwagting (BV) recorded wins, when the annual ‘Keep Ya Five Alive’ Futsal Championship continued on Friday evening at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue. Leopold Street overcame Vryheid’s Lust 2-1. On the other hand, Sparta Boss bested Espanyol 2-0. Meanwhile Ramsay Family edged Poor People Defence 1-0 whilst BV defeated Kingston 1-0.

In the female division, Defence Force defeated Tiger Bay via walkover, whilst Fruta Conquerors brushed aside Espanyol 4-1.

Action at the National Gymnasium in the ‘Keep Ya Five Alive’ Futsal Championship between Leopold Street and Vryheid’s Lust

The winner of the event will pocket $950,000, and the championship trophy, whilst the second, third, and fourth place finishers will receive $475,000, $237,000, and $118,000 respectively, and the corresponding accolade.
